It doesn’t get more iconic Las Vegas than the Fremont Street Experience and it’s Free! Friday night April 20 meet at 6 pm at Fremont and 4th Street in front of Luna Rossa Pizza. You can walk around, see free shows or ride the zip line for $20! More information on parking later.
Thanks to Creative Director, David Gomez, we are fortunate to be able to watch an acrobat rehearsal by the talented artists of Cirque du Soleil’s show Mystere, at Treasure Island! Meet at the Mystere Theater inside Treasure Island Hotel Casino.(bottom of escalators from the parking garage) by 3 pm sharp on Saturday, March 10. Just a reminder that it takes about 45 minutes to drive, park and walk to the theatre from most residential areas! We will go in once we are all gathered and will not be able to let others in if they are late.

February’s meeting will be at the Gold Coast Casino bowling lanes (http://www.goldcoastcasino.com/things-to-do/bowling/bowling-rates) on Flamingo east of the Palms before Valley View, Sunday, Feb. 12 at 3 pm. $3 per game and shoe rental of $2.75. Bring socks!
Sign-in option: If you can’t make the main bowling meeting you can meet me at the Starbucks at Charleston and Town Center (Albertson’s shopping center) on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 3 pm.
Ice skating was old hat for some of the girls, but the first time for others. I hope you try it again!
December meetings are all about the holidays! Two choices this month: Friday, Dec. 9, 7 pm at the Ethel M chocolate factory and decorated cactus garden. (http://www.ethelm.com/about_us/factory_tour.aspx). Something very unique to Las Vegas!
Also, Christmas Eve afternoon, Saturday, Dec. 24, 3-5 pm you are invited to a holiday cookie/dessert exchange at my house! Bring one kind of cookie/dessert from your home country or anything else you like to bake and leave with a plateful of a variety of desserts.
November’s au pair meeting will be ice skating Sunday, November 13, from 1-3 pm at the Las Vegas Ice Center, 9295 West Flamingo Road 89147. (http://www.lasvegasice.com). Only $9 for open skate includes skate rental!
This Fall’s Host Family and Au Pair event is at the Spring’s Preserve Saturday evening October 22 from 5-7 pm. The Haunted Harvest has halloween decorating crafts, music and food! Go to SpringsPreserve.org for more detailed information on the offerings and a photo contest, if you’re interested!

September is our annual scavenger hunt at Town Square Shopping Center! (6605 Las Vegas Blvd South, 89119) Meet on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 3 pm sharp at gazebo in the park, center of T.S. You will be divided into 2 teams and given a list of 15 items to find, take phone pictures of or sample. Prizes for the winning team!
